06 Dec evening with a monkey
please meet jaxon keith. he is 1 year old, single, loves all things daddy, and scratching aunt lexie in the face. he also enjoys fake crying and food. he is his mother’s son. and also quite possibly the nummiest little boy i know. it shocks me to say it, but he is. a little boy. he’s not a baby anymore. 🙁
jax’s momma is a close friend of mine and his daddy has since become too . he was a premie and had a rough start into the world but pulled through and has been going strong ever since. in this photo, jax was about 6 months. he is now 14 months.
i could go on about jax all day, and i do, most of the time. i love him as if he were my own. but my point is that it was jackie boy here who inspired me to get my camera back out after its second haitus on the shelf. i love seeing the joy on his face when he learns something new, the fierce determination as he reaches for my fries and the new teeth he displays when hes babbling.
he does what he wants. watching jaxon grow up before my eyes is a blessing i’ll treasure forever. he’s my practice model and i wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for him. he’s full of the emotion i love to capture. he puts a smile on my face and makes any day so much better. all i need is to hear that tickle-me-elmo laugh.
i love you jaxon keith and aunt lexie is sorry i bonked your head today.
