I just woke up from my food coma from Thanksgiving. I’m sure I’ve missed a lot. I went back to the Quad Cities for the holiday – plus or minus 10 days. I was home for over a week doing sessions for all of my favorite people at home, from family sessions with my favorite kids to portraits of my sixth grade teacher and my YMCA soccer coach, to boudoir photography for a few very lucky people.
I love you all and it’s so wonderful to be able to catch up when I come home. When my littlest one runs and leaps into my arms (Dad says he never does that) and his sister gives me a necklace “just like mine!” it makes me so grateful for the clients that have become such good friends. “Here. Wine.”
My favorite session and the one I’ve been waiting for was my girlfriend Jordan’s engagement session. Jordan is an amateur photographer and I love when she comes to me for advice and help. Her and I played soccer together, worked the bar together, and now I’m photographing her upcoming wedding in Mexico in January. Her engagement session went off without a hitch. Jordan bossed Matt around the entire time and it ended up being one of the best sessions I’ve had. Pure love all the way around.
Congratuations Jordan & Matt! Love you girl. Thank you for everything.
